At Alaska Studio we enjoy mixing our artistic talent of the outdoor world with the fun of shooting portraits. Because of this we have created the unique look that our clients have come to love. This is what helped create the motto that Alaska Studio lives by, "Make a picture worth a thousand words."

We often get asked how we came up with our motto, and the answer couldn't be more simple. Alaska Studio creates images that when your friends or family see them there only response will be, "WOW!" You never know if that next picture will be "the shot of a lifetime", so we take it a step further. Instead of hoping for that "shot of a lifetime", why not make every picture count? Hence our motto "Make a picture worth a thousand words."

Since Alaska Studio's start we have grown quite a bit, and now occupy a state of the art studio. Between the studio and the Alaskan outdoors we offer everything from classic portraiture to taking the artistic level of our portraits to the extreme. Free Child ID Kits this

Do you have children? Come to The Mall at Sears on Saturday August 28th from 10am-7pm! We will be handing out free Child ID kits. This aids the police in finding a missing child. Alaska Studio and Apogee Studios will be on site to take your child’s photo for the ID kits for free. This event sponsored by Alaska Studio, Apogee Studios, The Mall at Sears, with the cooperation of D.A.R.E., and the Alaska State Troopers.

It seems like only yesterday that we had Hunter! I can’t believe that 4 weeks have gone by already. I can only imagine how fast it will go from here. Even though we are taking a small break from the studio to enjoy Hunter, we are still scheduling for seniors. If you have any questions, for us, let us know, before you know it the summer will be over.
